Prosjektetableringsstøtte til deltakelse i Horisont Europa for Aquateam COWI

The project aims at increasing Aquateam COWI’s activities directed towards the European research community and to develop applications for the Horizon Europe program. We will initially establish a strategy for our direction and activities within the Horizon Europe program, with plans for, e.g., increased competence, network building and positioning of our research institution, focus areas, tasks and issues, project size, as well as our possible roles in the projects (coordinator, partner, WP-leader or task leader). Aquateam COWI will be active in building relationships with leading European scientific environments, and are planning to participate in consortium meetings and conferences where results and knowledge in our areas of expertise are shared. We intend to submit around three applications in the project period, and have identified the area Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment (WP 9), with calls during the project period 2023-2024, as especially relevant. We have drafted a few project ideas that are well aligned with calls in the following Destinations: • Clean environment and zero pollution • Circular economy and bioeconomy sectors • Fair, healthy and environment-friendly food systems The PES framework grant will contribute to covering Aquateam COWI’s costs connected to the preparation of these applications, preparation of the strategy for the participation in the Horizon Europe program, along with positioning and competence building.

Aquateam COWI ønsker delta i Horisont Europa innenfor området WP 9. Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment i perioden 2023-2024. Vi arbeider med prosjektidéer som faller inn under følgende Destinations i utlysningen: • Destination - Clean environment and zero pollution • Destination - Circular economy and bioeconomy sectors • Destination - Fair, healthy and environment-friendly food systems Vi søker om en PES-rammebevilgning for å kunne arbeide systematisk med en EU-strategi, posisjonering nasjonalt og internasjonalt samt kompetansebygging inn mot søknadsprosessen, og å øke sannsynligheten for å lykkes med søknader under Horisont Europa.
