PES Horisont Europa - Rammebevilgning 2023-2024 - NTNU Samfunnsforskning

In line with our strategic plan, NTNU Samfunnsforskning seeks to increase its efforts in contributing to national target achievements for Horizon Europe. The greater focus on the integration of SSH and more interdisciplinary research in the current program is a major advantage for our institute. With great thematic breadth across the institute, NTNU Samfunnsforskning has both research departments with extensive experience and recognition in a European context, and departments that are newcomers to this arena. The purpose of our PES project is to increase our participation in Horizon Europe by making better use of synergies between our high-quality research, nationally and internationally. To achieve this, we will implement measures that take into account both experienced and more inexperienced research groups. We will focus on the positioning and profiling of our research community, networking and strategic influence to promote Norwegian interests, as well as proper involvement and co-creation in the preparation of our strategy aimed at Horizon Europe. As a relatively small research institute, in addition to strengthening our research groups, we will also work actively to strengthen our administrative expertise, in order to equip ourselves to assume a coordinating role in future projects.

I tråd med vår strategiplan ønsker NTNU Samfunnsforskning å øke sin innsats for å bidra til nasjonal måloppnåelse for Horisont Europa. Et større fokus på integrering av SSH og mer interdisiplinær forskning i det nåværende programmet er en stor fordel for vårt institutt. Med stor tematisk bredde på tvers av instituttet har NTNU Samfunnsforskning både forskningsavdelinger med utstrakt erfaring og anerkjennelse i europeisk sammenheng, og avdelinger som er nykommere på denne arenaen. Formålet med vårt PES-prosjekt er å øke vår deltakelse i Horisont Europa gjennom å bedre utnytte synergier mellom vår høykvalitets forskning nasjonalt og internasjonalt. For å oppnå dette vil vi iverksette tiltak som tar hensyn til både erfarne og mer uerfarne faggrupper hos oss. Vi vil fokusere på posisjonering og profilering av våre fagmiljøer, nettverksbygging, strategisk påvirkningskraft for å fremme norske interesser og gode medvirknings- og forankringsprosesser i utarbeidelsen av vår strategi rettet mot Horisont Europa. Som en relativt liten forskningsinstitusjon vil vi i tillegg til å styrke våre faglige miljøer, også arbeide aktivt for å bygge opp vår administrative kompetanse, for å rigge oss til å kunne innta en koordinerende rolle i fremtidige prosjekter.
