Application from UiB for PES funding Horizon Europe for 2023 and 2024

The University of Bergen will employ PES funding from the Research Council of Norway for 2023 and 2024 to support our researchers in their work to develop competitive applications to Horizon Europe. Participation in Horizon Europe is central to UiB’s new institutional strategy for 2023-2030, where UiB’s vision is to be among the foremost universities in Europe, internationally acknowledged for high quality research and education. UiB’s ambition is broad participation for our researchers in all parts of Horizon Europe, and UiB aims to increase the number of applications to and projects funded in Horizon Europe compared to Horizon 2020. The PES funding from the Research Council of Norway will contribute to UiB’s reaching these aims.

Universitetet i Bergen søker rammebevilgning for PES-midler for 2023 og 2024 for å gi støtte til forskere i arbeidet med å utvikle konkurransedyktige søknader til Horisont Europa. Antall planlagte søknader for 2023 og 2024 er 270. UiB prioriterer å sikre støtte til alle søknadene og søker dermed kun midler til prosjektetableringsstøtte og ikke til andre aktiviteter i denne rammebevilgningen.
