14th IFIP International Conference on Entertainment Computing Trondheim 30/9 1,2/10 2015

IFIP ICEC Conference is a flagship event of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), which is a "leading multinational, apolitical organization in Information & Communications Technologies and Sciences". In 2015, the event has been successfully brought to Norway and will be organized by the Department of Computer and Information Science, NTNU. In 2015, the conference will be held in Trondheim, Norway, from September 30 to October 02. Its General Chair is Prof Letizia Jaccheri, NTNU. In addition, Prof. Monica Divitini, NTNU, is a Technical Program Chair. Dr. Sobah Abbas Petersen, SINTEF is Local Organizing Chair. IFIP ICEC is a competitive venue for publishing high quality papers. An acceptance rate of 25% is expected given the exp erience with previous ICEC conferences. The According to its tradition, the conference invites internationally renowned researchers to give keynote talks. For 2015, we aim at inviting 1. Hiroshi Ishii Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab. 2. Yvonne Rogers, University College London 3. Walt Scacchi Senior Research Scientist and Research Professor University of California, Irvine This project (requested amount to NFR 100KNOK of the 500KNOK total budget) is planned to provide support to the invited keynote speakers and to contribute to keep registration fees at a level that is standard for the conference despite the high costs in Norway.
