Summary of main activities:-Development of new ways of sub grouping patients based on multidimensional descriptions.-Better prediction of the clinical course and outcome of the illness on an individual level-Improved prediction of drug response and side-e ffects, leading to tailored treatment regiments-Demonostrate new targets for drug development through the identification of novel genetic and neurocognitive factors affecting the expression of the illness.-Education of a new generation of young scientists and clinical psychiatrists and psychologists who will be trained to apporach the mental health area from a multidisciplinary and integrated biological perspective.
