NA - Research Establishment At Level with Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security

The project objective and sub-goals will be achieved by the following means: a) Contact: The intial essential contact with the director of CERIAS, Professor Spafford, is already established, by his visit to NTNU autumn 2005. b) Agreement: The long-term institutional cooperation will be sougth by negotiating a "Memorandum of Agreement" between the universities, based on mutual campus visits and talks by scientists. c) Identified topic: The joint research project plans aimed for will be in the field of I CT information security, initially with focus on the theme of Digital Tracks and Forensic Digital Evidence. d) Exchange: The composition of research plans will be supported by a joint organized open scientific workshop. e) Result: The output of this p roject will be a concrete project description ready for funding application to NFR, NSF or EU CEC research programs.
