NA - Transportation and Distribution in Uncertain Environments

The project has as its goal to initiate joint research between Molde University College and CRT in Montreal within the topic "Transportation and Distribution in Uncertain Environments". This includes the following more detailed themes (as well as others) : - stochastic VRP (vehicle routing problem) and dynamic dispatch - stochastic network design - stochastic programming methodology (exact and approximate) to support the above - transportation modelling We plan two joint workshops to facilitat e the writing of an application to the Norwegian Research Council and the corresponding NRCC - National Research Council of Canada. The suggested projects will be large enough to engage both researchers and Ph.D. students at CRT and Molde University Co llege.
