Signaling in neural stem cells: implications for regenerative medicine and tumor biology

Stem cell biology is one of the most closely followed developments in biomedicine today. Stem cells may provide the foundation for rational regenerative therapeutics with far-reaching implications in the health sector, but give also new alleys in the unde rstanding of tumor biology. The central aim of the applying group is to continue the build up of an integrated group of complementary researchers that advances the understanding of neural stem cells towards better protocols for stem cells in regenerative medicine.
