PARA 2008

Support is sought to co-sponsor PARA?08, and international workshop conference to be held in Trondheim, May 13-16, 2008. PARA?08 is held every two years in each of the Nordic countries: Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden. The conference series is, howe ver, not only Nordic, but truly international in scope with many participants from the European continent and Asia as well as the United States participating at the last several conferences. The last two events in Copenhagen and Umeå, respectively, had ar ound 300 participants. Prof. Jack Dongarra, a well-known figure in the HPC community serves on the executive committee along with representatives from the Nordic countries. We expect a similar number to attend this conference.
