Organic Chemistry Wintermeeting 2009

The next Organic Winter Meeting, the 24rd, will take place January 8th-11th 2009 at Thon Hotel Skeikampen, Skeikampen. This conference is the national meeting in organic chemistry in Norway, and it is held under the umbrella of the Division of Organic Che mistry of the Norwegian Chemical Society. Master and Ph.D.-students as well as pod.doc.-fellows present research results from their projects at the meeting. Four distinguished chemists have been invited and have accepted to participate as plenary speakers . The OKV-24 meeting will emphasize on these following topics: organometallic chemistry; natural products synthesis; medicinal chemistry; organocatalysis/asymmetric synthesis and synthetic methodology while keeping particular emphasis on bio-organic aspe cts.
