Semester abroad as a freemover at the Norges Handelshøyskole

As I do not apply for a research scholarship I use this project for a synopsis of the subjects at the NHH I find most interesting. I wrote a more detailed description and my reasons in my letter of motivation. 1.) Pure business course - 'Econometric Tec hniques' as it was recommended to me by a former classmate who studies at the NHH and helps to understand academic work much better - 'Investments' as it offers insights into financial market theory, principles, concepts, analytical methods, instruments and institutions - 'Principles of Derivatives Pricing and Risk Management' to get a deeper insight into options and risk management tools. 2.) Interdisciplinary courses - 'The Energy, Resource and Environmental Industrial Sector' to obtain a broader vi ew on the environmental effects and also the financial and physical products traded in the energy sector - 'Financial Aspects of Energy and Commodity Markets' as a link between energy sector and business
