Disability Rights Expanding Accessible Markets or DREAM is a training network for early stage researchers stemming from the EU Marie Curie Initial Training Network Funding Programme. The primary aim of DREAM is to professionally develop and educate the ne xt generation of disability policy researchers and entrepreneurs to assist the EU and its Member States in their efforts to implement the UN CRPD at EU and Member State levels. This will involve exploring options for European Union disability law and poli cy reform in light of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006). The Dream ITN consists of the National University of Ireland, Galway (coordinator), Technosite (Spain), Maastricht University (Netherlands, University of Leeds (UK), NOVA Norwegian Social Research Instititute, the University of Iceland and the Swiss Paraplegic Research. In addition, the Network consists of eight associated partners such as leading civil society groups. These include the European Disabil itry Forum, Interights, Mental Disability Advocacy Centre and the European Group of National Human Rights Institiutions and Digital Europe. Fourteen Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) have been recruited across the network on a full-time basis over three y ears and will explore and develop recommendations for European Union disability law and policy reform in light of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006). Two of the ESRs work at NOVA: Yulyia Kuznetsova is working on the project "Toward Economic Independence: Corporate Culture and inclusion into the Workforce". Anthony Giannoumis is working on the project "Monitoring the Implementation & Enforcement of National eAccessibility law and policy".
