NOP Romantik - Journal for the Study of Romanticisms

Romantik - Journal for the Study of Romanticisms is an English-language, multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to the study of romanticisms. We emphasise that the journal is interested in all European and Nordic romanticisms, and not least the connections and disconnections between them. Hence the use of the plural in the "romanticisms". The articles range over the full variety of cultural practices, including the literature, visual arts, history, philosophy, religion, and theatre. The journal sets out to become a leading international forum for publishing articles on Nordic romantic art and ideas. Our contributors include both Nordic and international researchers. Romantik is a double blind peer-reviewed journal, which is published once a year. The jou rnal promotes innovative research across disciplinary borders. It aims to advance new historical discoveries, forward-looking theoretical insights and cutting-edge methodological approaches.
