'Scandinavica. An International Journal of Scandinavian Studies' is a scholarly journal focusing on the literature and culture of all the Nordic countries. The journal includes contributions from specialists in any field of Scandinavian Studies including (but not limited to) literary studies, history, art, film and media studies, linguistics, and Medieval Studies. Each issue contains three or four peer-reviewed articles, a comment and debate section, reviews of recently-published scholarly books in the fi eld of Scandinavian Studies. The journal publishes also a bibliography listing contributions to Scandinavian Studies in other periodicals as well as a select bibliography of books published in the Nordic countries (imaginative literature and other works). Norvik Press Ltd has recently launched a dedicated 'Scandinavica' website, where some the material published in each issue will be freely available. In addition, from 2013 the biographical material material printed in 'Scandinavica' will be moved to t he web. This is to ensure that lists are searchable and easy to update. These digitalisation projects have all been carried out alongside the indexation of the entire corpus of the journal, also to be launched in 2013. In the course of the next three ye ars Norvik Press Ltd and the editors wish to continue publishing this internationally respected journal, while making it more widely available and increasing its readership.
