Erasmus exchange to University of Bergen

My project started in January 2013, when I took part in the Erasmus exchange offered by University of Heidelberg and University of Bergen at the Master of Science level. This exchange is important to reach my objective of becoming a researcher in the fiel ds of Finance. At University of Heidelberg I improved my general and analytical skills in advanced Economic subjects. I completed subjects such as Advanced Econometrics, Advanced Mathematics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Public Finance and several tu torials. My special interests lie in Finance, therefore the University of Bergen (in cooperation with the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH)) is the ideal partner institute for me. I am enrolled in the courses Growth and Architecture of Financial Systems , Principles of Derivatives Pricing and Risk Management and Theory of Finance. Besides my interests in Finance, I also take the opportunity to get additional insight into Norway. That is why I am enrolled in Norwegian language course and in the course Cri tical perspectives on environment and development at the geographical institute. After my semester in Bergen I will start with my master dissertation at the University of Heidelberg in cooperation with the Centre for European Research in Mannheim. I am co nvinced that the Erasmus exchange is the perfect preparation for my master thesis and my future career.
