Erasmus semester at the University of Oslo

While having the possibility to spend my exchange semester in Norway I will participate in subjects which will complete my emphasis in internet, telecommunications and media law as well as studying subjects regarding the european union with particular emp hasis on the relationship to Norway. As immigration is one of the various political discussions and an everyday concern (one third of the population of Oslo is not from Norway originally) I hope to get a better knowledge in this regard through 'refugee an d asyluum law'. I will try to engage in university groups to get closer with Norwegians and their way of life and thinking. I hope to get an overview and basic knowledge about the political but also and especially the economic side of Norway, as there are plenty of ressources and it is a 'sea country' - something very different from Germany. Iam excited to explore one of the 'far neighbours' of Germany, an important trade partner and see similarities and differences. Getting future job perspectives and po ssibilities is something I wish to conecntrate on as well.
