New ecosystem for advertising

Dappd will replace existing ecosystems within advertising. Through dialogue, user feedback and advanced algorithms, the user will get a level of control and relevance never experienced before.It doesn't matter whether the user is listening to the radio or seeing ads while surfing, only relevant ads will be shown on all platforms. This is far from the situation today: Consumers are being overwhelmed with irrelevant adverts, resulting in many to install ad-blockers and avoid ads completely. Level of relevance of advertisement is estimated to be 0.18%, which is a huge waste of resources for both advertiser and customer. This shows how hard it is to reach a potential customer through advertising. Dappd presents the answer to that challenge. We will introduce a new ecosystem (application) for advertising. The company mission is to achieve 70-90% relevance. Through cross-channel data collection, location technology and our own personalized algorithm, we are aiming to bring relevance and value to every ad. Higher relevance will bring higher return of investment and a stronger brand presence. Dappd has so far brought some 1500+ consumers, the biggest media houses, media agency and some of the largest advertisers in Norway on board to help us reach our goal. The core functionality of the technology is being tested in a closed beta and we are developing a prototype of the Dappd ecosystem. Now, we want to produce a proper feasibility study, with the support from H2020 SMEI ODS programme to facilitate expansion outside of Norway's borders. Dappd was nominated as Best Newcomer at Nordic Startup Awards 2016, Semi Finalists Best Pitch Oslo Innovation Week 2015, Semi Finalist Angel Challenge 2016.
