Tildelt: kr 49 999

AbleOn Develops the only aid that safely assist elders and people with disabilities through the entire shower routine. The system is now on, after 2 years of R&D, TRL 6 and has been developed in close collaboration with all users from the beginning with user centered design. AbleOn Shower System are from the beginning based on mechanics but will in this project be complemented with ICT and IoT elements. The next version of AbleOn Shower System "IPSA" will be a part of the Smart House Technology wave that is believed to solve economical challenges in healthcare but also improve quality of life for both users, family and healthcare workers. In this project, AbleOn Medical will continue the development och AbleOn Shower System together with the IoT and ICT components with our partners. The IPSA system will include fall detection, communication systems and biosensors. Before this project a feasibility study was performed after receiving the Seal of Excellence. A study that verified market, technology, regulatory and health economic perspectives of the IPSA system. AbleOn will continue the project based on the results from that study together with partners with expertise in biosensors, ICT and IoT. AbleOn will develop and test the prototype together with our pilot customers Oslo and Vaksdal Municipality who take part in testing and actually pay for our prototypes. We will together with them, refine the system and prepare for production. We will also patent the technology and the design. Launch of the system will most probably be in at least two phases since this is a system with several parts that can be used differently based on user needs and many parts can be used independently from each other. We will in the project outline a detailed commercialisation plan, market and sales plan and prepare for channels both within and outside the Nordics.
