NeuralBlock Technology developed to assess neural block, based on skin conductance activity

Tildelt: kr 49 999

Neuroblock technology AS founded February 2017 is established to assess that neuralblocks from local anaesthesia work. The technology used is based on assessing activity in sympathetic nerves by using skin conductance activity and the signals are treated in new ways which give intellectual properties. Research studies show that the sympathetic nerves are without any protection lawyers (myelin), and therefore does the local anaesthesia block these thin nerves before other nerves are blocked (The founders: Gungor S, Storm H, Pain Medicine 2017). This new technology will consist of: new software, two channels (it is of importance to assess the skin conductance activity on the extremity which will be in anaesthesia (neural block) and compare these results to the extremity which will not be in anaesthesia. Moreover, a stimulator to secure skin conductance activity will be developed to improve the accuracy of the device. A provincial patent is submitted for these purposes.
