Mechanisms leading to compromised mitophagy in Alzheimer?s disease

This is an application for the performance of some key experiments with data to support my ERC grant re-submission. The novelty of my ERC grant is to focus on compromised mitophagy as a contributor of Alzheimer's disease (AD), a dominant dementia in the world and brings formidable socio-economic problems to the humans. Novel mechanisms from this project may have immediate translational applications to the AD patients.
