PES for H2020 RIA ARTICONF (smArt Ripples neTworked socIal media eCOsystem in a blockchaiN analytic Fog environment)

The H2020 ICT-28-2018 call "Future Hyper-Connected Sociality: Support of new Social Media Initiatives" provides for a close match with bitYoga's capabilities and development strategy. Program objectives focus on providing support of new Social Media initiatives, and transition to peer-to-peer federated social networks based on smart decentralized architectures. Applications of blockchain technologies have a particular emphasis, together with demonstrations of practical use cases and close industry/academia collaborations. Labeled "ARTICONF" (smArt Ripples neTworked socIal media eCOsystem in a blockchaiN analytic Fog environment), the upcoming proposal tackles the trust, time-criticality and democratization issues that are urgently needed for a new generation of federated social media platforms by creating and validating a novel social media operational prototype. The ARTICONF work plan is designed to reflect a concentrated, collaborative effort, which is scheduled over a period of 36 months. The project is structured into six work packages (WPs). bitYoga will specifically take the lead on WP5 in the H2020 RIA project and demonstrate a smart neighborhood pilot use-case.
