Preproject electrospraying graphene oxide coatings

The idea is with this method, the parameters can be easily controlled to obtain a uniform and well-defined coating and thin films on the different substrates. For example, by adjusting voltage, liquid pressure and GO/ rGO concentration it is possible to make coatings with different thickness on large substrates. Electrospray is also a good method for the fabrication of a variety functionalized thin films which have their own application especially in electronic devices. Some of the applications are as follows: - Fabrication of coating and thin films - Fabrication of hybrid particles - Functionalization of GO / rGO - Direct reduction of GO to rGO with different C/O ratio. In this method by applying a high voltage to a metal nozzle where the liquid droplets flowing through, a spray can be created. Depending on the applied voltage and charge, the electrospray can be operated in negative or positive mode. The size of droplets in the spray can be tuned by adjusting voltage, distance of emitter and the grounded plate, and liquid pressure. Comparing to other methods, scalability and reproducibility of this method are two big advantages to be attractive for fabricating these nanoscale materials.
