Establishing global LEADERship of EU PV industry through new generation of innovative products for GW scale manufacturing

The EU project is proposing disruptive innovation in PV manufacturing, by a novel integrated value chain approach for adoption of next generation technologies (Perovskite and CIGS) by established mainstream power PV technologies (Si based). Proposed approach is delivering solution for establishing long term competitive manufacturing in EU by • fast and low cost uptake of new technology developments in PV research in beneficial way for new and established PV technologies, • Utilizing best solutions and highest performances for different PV materials without the need to compromise quality for material compatibility • Establishing ecosystem for cross beneficial growth of all PV manufacturing players independently on technology starting from innovative spin-off's and up to established producers. The EU project is proposing effective ways for fast and large scale uptake of novel PV production, addressing three mainstream PV technologies and creating conditions for EU PV manufacturing leadership restoration, by: • Establishing pilot lines of innovative production processes on which number of innovations for separate PV technologies will be tested in real manufacturing environment. • A novel solution for cost-effective tandem modules manufacturing integrating manufacturing process through Industry4 approach and utilizing novel Power Electronics.
