Molliesafe is a technical solution that eradicates, and revolutionizes how to manage humidity in building constructions. Molliesafe prevents moisture in constructions of wet rooms, cellars, and attics, as well as refrigerators and freezers. The product is unique in the market. The solution has been tested in operational environment and is assessed to TRL 7. Molliesafe is a method of drying up the moisture that occurs in temperature variations in the junction between the floor and the wall. Molliesafe are simple perforated pipe profiles that are laid in the wall and floors in exposed areas. The pipe profiles are connected to a fan that draws the humid air into the pipe profiles into a regular indoor environment. The technology is patented within the EU. The technology has been tested on several sites and have demonstrated its superiority to competing technologies. E.g. it was tested at the Burger King food chain in Oslo. The test revealed that the consequences of the humidity such as icing, and maintenance due to humidity was eradicated. The humidity/moisture and mould in building constructions was eradicated. The energy consumption was reduced by up to 50% which is an enormous cost saving in the long run for such a fast food franchise chain. Furthermore, long term employee’s health effect due to better environment is substantial. The solution shall be commercialized. The SME Instrument project shall conduct a technical, and mercantile feasibility study. The final delivery is a feasibility report, including a business plan.
