SAVR SME Phase 2

The overall vision of the SAVR project is to prototype, pilot and commercialise our cost-effective, automated and smart personal finance and service management platform, reducing users´ expenses with minimal disruption to our users. The aim is to deliver a marketplace that automatically recommends the best services to each user and also finds the best deal, improving user’s satisfaction and reducing service providers costs by improving customers’ loyalty. Problem to address: People are increasingly using subscription services with new actors appearing trying to consolidate in each profitable sector. On average, every European household spends €130/month on subscriptions, equalling a total of €350bn across EU. However, many people do not perform a careful control of their finances, often mismanaging their personal finances or paying for services they are not using. Marketwise, people are too loyal and do not renegotiate with their financial service providers. Likewise, navigating online, spending hours on the phone or visiting commercial offices to figure out the best deal or service can be confusing, often intentionally locking people in bad deals. To make things worse, brands often obscure the real price and quality of features and products by bundling, using ‘campaign pricing’, hidden fees or other confusing price/product modules and “dirty tricks”. The aim of the project is to move our current prototype technology to full commercialisation onto the global markets. Our technology has a major market potential compared to current state-of-the-art technology. To increase our commercial success and impact, we have created a Strategic Business Plan as a detailed roadmap, describing all necessary activities we need to undertake to ensure a successful market introduction. Now we seek to develop our Commercialisation Plan, which will form an important part of the final Business Innovation Plan, to be created in this Phase 2 project.
