ENGIneering PLAtform for Circular Economy

ENGIPLACE aims at researching, developing, and experimenting an open Digital Platform to support the Engineering of Circular Economy in next generation Products, Production Systems and Supply Chains. ENGIPLACE Platform aims to extend state-of-the-art PLM systems, compliant with i) a Circularity by Design Toolkit encompassing advanced digital tools to support engineering for circular Life Cycle Assessment of Products and Services ii) a Circular Data Space composed by FAIR materials Data Sets as well as a real time Industrial Data Platform managing Cognitive Digital Twins of circular products and processes; iii) an AI for Circularity 5.0 development and experimentation environment, based on AI4Europe platform, and implementing human, resilient and sustainable Circular Industry 5.0 principles, and (iv) an Innovation and Learning Environment for Circular Manufacturing for enhancing the uptake of circular-oriented engineering and management of products and processes in manufacturing.
