PES 2023-2024

I følge NHH sin strategi for 2022-2025 skal NHH være en forskningsintensiv handelshøyskole med forskning på høyt internasjonalt nivå. NHH skal ha en forskningsaktiv fagstab som skal produsere forskning av høy kvalitet og med spisskompetanse på internasjonalt toppnivå. I tillegg skal NHH ha et PhD-program med høy internasjonal kvalitet. NHHs forskningsmiljøer skal nå opp i konkurransen om eksternfinansierte midler på anerkjente nasjonale og internasjonale (EU) søknadsarenaer. Prosjektet har som mål å styrke NHHs forsknings- og PhD-program ved hjelp av europeisk forskningsfinansiering. NHHs deltakelse i de europeiske rammeprogrammene for forskning og innovasjon er prioritert, noe som gjenspeiles i NHHs strategidokumenter. Skolens innsats i 2023-2024 vil være rettet mot Pillar I Excellence noe som tidligere har gitt utmerkede resultater. NHH vil imidlertid vurdere mulighetene for å delta på ulike områder under Pillar II. Deltakelse i de banebrytende forskningsprogrammene (ERC, og MSCA) styrker skolens grunnforskning, i MSCA doktorgradsnettverk styrker NHH PhD-programmet og i Pillar II styrkes samarbeidet mellom NHH og samfunns- og næringsliv. Det er utarbeidet skreddersydde opplegg for de enkelte utlysningstypene.

NHH 2022-2025 strategy documents state that NHH shall be a research-intensive business school with research at a high international level, and more specifically NHH shall have a research-active faculty that produces high-quality research and cutting-edge expertise at the highest international level, and a PhD programme of high international quality. NHH seeks to capitalize on Horizon Europe’s research grants as a hallmark of excellence. Thus, this project aims to strengthen NHH’s research and PhD programme through high-quality European funding applications. We achieve this overall goal through the following sub-goals: I. Provide updated competences, deep know-how and integral support to produce competitive cutting-edge research proposals. II. Expand the competences of the administrative staff to better support the researchers to apply, secure and manage European funded projects NHH’s participation in the European research and innovation research framework programmes has been a priority, as reflected in NHH’s strategy documents. As in the past, the school’s efforts during 2023-2024 will be focused on applying to Pillar I Excellence which has produced excellent results. However, NHH will actively and dynamically assess opportunities to participate also in different destinations of Pillar II. Applications to groundbreaking research programmes (ERC, at to some extent MSCA) strengthen the schools fundamental research, applications to MSCA doctoral networks strengthen NHH PhD programme and application to Pillar II further strengthens the ties between the academic and non-academic sector, which allow innovation, sustainable value creation and development in business and public institutions in accordance with the schools strategy. Speciafic measures have been devised to target each of these types of grants to reach the overall project goal.
