5096: AgriPV Start. Accelerating agriPV installations in Europe using satellite data, pilot system and automated analysis

Vi trenger mer fornybar energi i verden, samtidig som vi må bruke landbruksarealer til matproduksjon. Dette prosjektet er innenfor agriPV, som kombinerer matproduksjon og solenergi på samme landområde. Målet med prosjektet er å akselerere implementeringen av agriPV prosjekter i Europa ved å tilby programvare som hjelper med å evaluere og analysere potensielle agriPV prosjekter. Glint Solar og konsortiet vil utvikle modeller og algoritmer for forskjellige agriPV løsninger og for ulike avlinger på ulike steder. Glint Solar vil utvikle et verktøy for produsenter av solenergi og for bønder slik at de raskt kan estimere optimale løsninger både for potensielle energiproduksjon og for avlingsproduksjon. Fraunhofer ISE i Berlin er forskningspartner i konsortiet.

The goal of the project is to accelerate the implementation of agrivoltaic projects in Europe by providing a software that helps evaluate and analyze potential agrivolataic projects at the early project stage. Glint Solar and the consortium will develop models and algorithms for agrivoltaic solutions, for various crops at various locations. Glint Solar will develop a tool for solar developers and farmers so that they can quickly estimate optimal solutions and their potential energy and crop production. Fraunhofer ISE will be subcontracting to the consortium.
