AI for Open Source Software Security Certification

The main goal of CertifAIit project is to propose a holistic view on novel AI-based development technologies, data technologies and Cybersecurity compliance issues, by offering a toolset to implement secure code, easy to be integrated by third parties for releasing certified products, with a concrete agile methodology. The toolset will include an innovative Development Environment (IDE) to support architects, developers and operators during the full lifecycle of a distributed application, from requirements elicitation to software validation and assessment, with specific functional and security requirements. The proposed methodology integrates novel AI-based approaches with a special focus on the quality of dataset to be used, security-by-design principles by also exploiting security Service Level Agreements to formalize security requirements and security expectations, and SecDevOps techniques, to fully enable agile methodologies for secure software.
