Forprosjekt. Monitoring and re-use of operating experience in eOperations

Tildelt: kr 49 999

The following activities shall be focused on: 1. Investigate how other industries have applied eOperation-type monitoring and experience utilisation and what learning can be applied from this for offshore eOperations 2. What data types are needed (minimu m) for monitoring safety and operational regularity (type, quality, frequency, etc.) 3. Data capturing methods and quality assurance 4. Main application/decisions where such data are needed (type of applications, user categories, integration of user needs etc.) 5. Classification of alternative approaches for accumulation and (re)use of common operating experience (“corporate memory”) 6. Guidelines for monitoring and re-use of operarting experience in eOperations By data in this context is meant operating experience in a wide sense, both exact quantitative information and more qualitative experience. In an eOperation environment it will be important that knowledge based on operating experience must be accumulated in a common repository (“corporate memory ”). Thereby be readily available for the whole operating organisation both for a day-to-day solving of operational problems and for more long-term analyses and follow up. This project should, however, not deal with methods for knowledge management a such, but evaluate how those techniques may be used in the context described above. Further, other specific aspects such as remote monitoring, data security, integration of operating teams (human aspects) are examples of related aspects, but will not be addre ssed in detail in this study.
