Condition monitoring in integrated operations.(COMON)

Tildelt: kr 54 740

The main objective of the COMON project is to capitalise on the abundance of centralised process operational data in current and forthcoming operation environments and to provide personnel with critical condition monitoring and diagnostic information for improved decision support. Integrated operations will be made more effective, efficient and reliable, assisting the operators and maintenance staff in early detection and diagnosis of faults and anomalies as well as enabling testing of the well flow with out or with reduced need for utilising a test separator. The practical outcome will be, for each selected case study, a qualified software system that can be easily integrated in the operational environment. This results in better support for experts t o collectively make better decisions on operation and maintenance planning, and is realised through developing integrated applications for: - on-line calibration monitoring and real-time sensor validation; - diagnosis of faults and anomalies at the compon ent, system, or plant level; - condition monitoring and plant state estimation; - testing/prediction of production from individual wells The main objective will be approached from two complementary and equally necessary fronts, these being the research fr ont and the application front. The research front will involve the investigation and adaptation of best available technology for condition monitoring to OOC integrated environments, while the application front will involve the identification of at least t wo practical case studies that are highly relevant for the end-users participating in the project and which can form the basis for future commercialization activities. The main activities for the "forprosjekt" will be to identify and collect specific rele vant data, communication and clarification with potential end users, identification of potential practical cases/applications and evaluating and "short listing" practical cases relevant for the main project
