Tildelt: kr 89 729

This workshop is of special interest for the innovative aspects of the research program, FINNUT. Theme B, in FINNUT, is of particular relevance for this application. In our view, supporting efforts of turning Early Childhood and Care Institutions and schools into post-diagnosis localities or places of transition; their main task becoming that of not passing on traditions, but to prepare for future contingent events. We need more complex, contested and cross-curricular research approaches in early years/youth studies. Our main focus is therefore on expanding and improving on research methodologies. Further, we want to explore recent post structural and post human methodological and pedagogical approaches. We organize educational scientists from all over Europe, Australia and USA together. These are highly merited and leading scientists in the poststructuralist and post-human research field. Norwegian master- and PhD students will also attend. The estimated numbers of participants are 50. Our workshop theme is ?Performing methodologies in early years studies?.
