Dette er IEA Wind Task 29, Mexnext fase III. Hver av fasene kjører som egne IEA prosjektet, og man har valgt å bruke samme task nummer på hver av dem og organisere det som faser istedenfor å opprette nye task nummer for hver av fasene. Hver av dem fremlegges for godkjenning av IEA Wind Exco.
The main goal of the IEA task 29 Mexnext project is to develop and validate models for rotor aerodynamics. The project is divided in sub packages where different aspects are studied in depth.
Task 4.1: Standstill and IEC aerodynamics
Task 4.2: Sensitivity of results on Reynolds number
Task 4.3: Angle of attack aerodynamics
Task 4.4: Near wake aerodynamics, including tip vortex trajectories and the turbulent wake state
Task 4.5: Non-uniformity of flow between the blades

Task 4.7: Yawed flow and instationary airfoil aerodynamics

Task 4.9: Boundary layer transition

IFE have been actively participating to task 4.1 and will continue its participation in 2017
