OPTISITE

I Optisite har vi hatt som mål å utvikle en programvare som gjør at brukeren raskt kan finne fram til de beste løsningsforslagene, både når det gjelder bokvalitet og arealutnyttelse, når en tomt skal utvikles. Før Spacemaker var tomteplanlegging en tidkrevende, dyr og manuell prosess, i stor grad basert på prøving og feiling, noe som resulterte i at suboptimale løsninger ble valgt. Dette er hverken bra for bokvaliteter, bærekraft, eller inntjeningen til tomteutbyggeren. I Optisite har Spacemaker AS jobbet sammen SINTEF, Aspelin Ramm, Stor-Oslo Eiendom, AF-gruppen og Niels Torp+ Arkitekter med å utvikle Spacemaker programvaren for tidligfase tomteplanlegging. Ved bruk av optimering og kunstig intelligens kan brukeren nå raskt generere et stort antall løsningsforslag, for så å sammenligne dem med hensyn på arealutnyttelse og bokvaliteter som for eksempel sol, støy, utsikt og vind. I løpet av prosjektperioden har den skybaserte programvaren blitt et verdensledende produkt innen tomteutvikling og har nå brukere i mange forskjellige land.

Optisite have contributed to developing the Spacemaker product from an idea at project start to an international market leading product with customers in many countries. Many of the R&D results from Optisite have already been implemented in the product. In a wider perspective the project is expected to affect both the building industry and the society as a whole in a positive way. With Spacemaker the user can now easily explore the different ways of developing the plot and see the consequences, with respect to both area utilization and living qualities, of each proposal at an early stage. As a result, the user saves both time and money. For regulatory authorities the possibility to view high quality analysis of various living qualities will ensure that living qualities can be taken into account already at the planning stage, something that will benefit the wider society.

By automatically generating site proposals that optimize both utilization, building cost and housing quality, OptiSite will realize the full potential of undeveloped property. This will create enormous value for property owners and for society. Together with market leading partner companies within the entire value chain (Aspelin Ramm, Stor-Oslo Eiendom, AF-gruppen and Niels Torp Architects) Spacemaker will develop the artificial intelligence together with researchers from Sintef Digitals department of applied mathematics.
